Terms of Service

T1Hosting provides web hosting to clients worldwide, and we have a responsibility to protect each client and to provide the best services available. All clients of T1Hosting are subject to the following terms of service:

Indemnification Policy

You agree to use all T1Hosting services and facilities at your own risk. T1Hosting specifically disclaims all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall T1Hosting be liable for any loss, or loss of data, or other commercial damage, including but not limited to special, incidental, consequential or other damages. Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold T1Hosting harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against T1Hosting, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, it's agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless T1Hosting against liabilities arising out of Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with T1Hosting's server.


At this time we bill monthly, semi-annually and annually, depending upon the plan. If you are not satisfied within your first 30 days we will be happy to provide you with a full refund (domain name registration fee is nonrefundable).

We accept payments using PayPal, Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Discover Card. Any credit card transactions are processed through PayPal directly. We do not collect, store, or transmit credit card numbers. A PayPal account is NOT required for payment using a credit card. Your shared hosting account will be set up instantly after we receive your first payment. Their are no contract periods, but once your billing term is over, your service will be automatically renewed with the same term, unless otherwise noted.

T1Hosting cannot, in any way, be held responsible for errors in pricing or promotional codes.

Late Payments:

All accounts are billed according to the dates they were first activated on. Invoices are sent 10 days prior to the renewal date for your service. Email reminders are sent 2 days before the due date, and 1 day past due.

  • If your payment is more than 1 day late, a late fee may be added.

  • If your payment is 3 or more days late, your service will be automatically suspended. Service will resume instantly upon receiving your payment.

  • After 60 days, if your payment still has not been received, your service will automatically be terminated. Once terminated, all files and data pertaining to your account will be erased from our system.

  • If your service has been supsended for a period of 14 days or more due to an overdue payment, we reserve the right to reclaim any dedicated IP addresses you may have purchased and return them to the IP pool.

Acceptable Use Policy:

All services provided by T1Hosting may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States Federal, State or City law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, and material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless T1Hosting and its employees from any claims resulting from the use of the service which damages the subscriber or any other party. Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Any offending content may result in the immediate suspension of your account, at the staff's discretion. However, in most cases, you will be given advanced notice and time to remove the content before a suspension occures.

Adult content is allowed; however, excessive bandwidth use from audult content will be considered abuse of our services.

The following types of activity are not allowed on our network:

  • Any use of our services for sending or receiving bulk unsolicted email, newsgroup postings, chain letters, or anything else that can be considered "spam".

  • Any type of material that infringes on any copyright or trademark. This includes storing or transmitting pirated movies, music, software, games, ring tones, or anything else that could be considered "warez".

  • Any type of IRC software, torrent software, proxy software, or "bots".

  • Using our hosting as a CDN or file storage service, including offering a file storage, or similar, service.

  • Child pornography, bestiality, hate speech, scam sites, phishing sites, or any other material which is considered to be illegal in the United States.

  • Any type of software expoit, viruses, trojans, or any other type of mallicious software.

  • Any content involving gambling or online casinos

Your Account Responsibilities:

By using our services, you are agreeing to the following conditions (updated December 2016). These terms are put in place to ensure the integrity of our systems and assist us in providing the highest level of service possible to you, the customer.

  • YOU, as the customer, are responsible for the security of your account. You are required to maintain a secure and complex password on all aspects of your account, including, but not limited to: cPanel, MySQL, databases, and FTP access.

  • YOU, as the customer, are responsible for any and all content within your account. If your account becomes compromised and begins sending out spam, your email privileges will be revoked and/or account suspended. Make sure you keep your software up to date and only use code that has been carefully reviewed for security flaws.

  • We will scan the files you upload on a routine basis with ClamAV for any viruses or malicious scripting. Any suspected content will automatically be removed and quarantined.

  • YOU, as the customer, must regularly maintain your default cPanel system inbox. We will automatically purge files from these folders that are older than 30 days. This applies to the system default inbox ONLY, it DOES NOT apply to separate email accounts you create.


T1Hosting shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from T1Hosting servers going off-line or being unavailable for any reason whatsoever. Furthermore, T1Hosting shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any web site from one of T1Hosting servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.


T1Hosting cannot be held liable for system downtime, crashes, or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicted estimate of profits in which a client would have gained if their site was functioning. Certain services provided by T1Hosting are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software, and programming used by T1Hosting are not directly owned or written by T1Hosting. Moreover, T1Hosting holds no responsibility for the use of our clients accounts. If any terms or conditions are failed to be followed, the account in question will be automatically deactivated. We reserve the right to remove any account without advanced notice for any reason without restitution as T1Hosting sees fit. FURTHERMORE, T1Hosting retains the right to change any or all of the above Policies, Guidelines, and Disclaimer without notification.
